In July 2023, The Stygian Society launched its first publication, The Stygian Collection, marking the start of something fresh, new, and deeply rooted in the creative spirit of our community.

A Project Born on AuthorTube

When Pae Veo and I (Holly Rhiannon) first met through YouTube, we were two writers sharing our passion for storytelling on the platform. That connection grew into a partnership and, eventually, a small press dedicated to championing stories for their own sake.

Our debut anthology, The Stygian Collection, celebrates the AuthorTube community by featuring 24 creators who also share their work and insights on YouTube. Together, we built a collection that explores the many interpretations of "Stygian"—a word both specific and fast in its meaning.

A Journey Through Darkness and Imagination

Inside The Stygian Collection, you’ll find stories and poems that travel across genres and styles. This is a collection of contrasts and curiosities, where the ancient meets the futuristic, the strange brushes against the familiar, and emotions cut deep.

A Community Effort

This project would not have been possible without the support of our Kickstarter backers. Thanks to 73 supporters and $6,761 in funding, The Stygian Collection became a reality.

For us, this anthology is more than a book; it’s a reflection of what creativity can achieve when people come together. Each contributor brought something uniquely their own, creating a work that challenges, inspires, and lingers long after the last page.
